Definitions:
  1. Your account is with Parlour Ltd trading as The Therapy Agency who is the Data Controller.
  2. Where we refer to 'Group' and 'We' in this clause we are referring to those Registered Therapists and staff members of The Therapy Agency Service.
  3. Your information may be held on a The Therapy Agency Service Group database and used by Us for the purposes set out in this clause. Your information includes any information which we or any Group company holds, now or at any time in the future and which comes from, or relates to:
    • Booking Forms, Medical Information, and other dealings with any Group member;
    • Your Products and Services from any Group member; and
    • The transactions from Your Account, including the name and date of the supplier, the nature of the goods and services, and your feedback from Session.

1. Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
  1. 1.1. We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site and through your Session. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via use of the Service, email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
  2. 1.2. We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your personal information with any third party outside of Our Service, other than as necessary to fulfil your request, e.g. to provide a Treatment Session or deliver an order.
  3. 1.3. We may share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person unless you have given clear permission to reveal such personal information in a separate formal agreement.
  4. 1.4. In order to provide The Therapy Agency service and to ensure all areas of this agreement are carried out, The Therapy Agency is required to contact you by a number of contact methods including but not limited to your email and telephone, both to arrange details of your session, to confirm attendance, to request feedback about your session, and to follow up any feedback provided.  We are also required to contact you some time after your session to ensure terms of this agreement are carried out in full, e.g. in the placement and remuneration of repeat bookings.
  5. 1.5. Unless you ask us not to (in the option to opt out on your booking page, or in your other easily accessible personal details), we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, discounts, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.
  6. 1.6. The personal information held by us is held on and processed by computers situated in the United Kingdom, by other remote servers deemed secure by the Agency, by Thawte - one of the world's leading on-line security specialists (www.thawte.com), by WorldPay - part of the Royal Bank of Scotland arranging online payment (www.worldpay.com), by PayPal (www.paypal.com), by GoogleCheckout (http://checkout.google.com), or by other third parties considered suitable to process data on our behalf.
  7. 1.7. If all of the assets which The Therapy Agency uses to operate its business (or substantially all of them) are acquired by a third party, We may transfer personal data we then hold to that party.
  8. 1.8. We may share data supplied by you (or collected about you) with our subsidiaries and other companies in our group, but only for the purposes described in this policy.
  9. 1.9. Your personal details will be shared with each Therapist sub-contractor assigned to provide your treatment, in order to make suitable arrangements to carry out the Session, and in the direct provision of the Service.
2. Confidential Information
  1. 2.1. Any personal information regarded as confidential (including but not limited to Medical Information or Session Notes by each Therapist after each session), shall not be shared outside of the Therapy Agency Service except where required by law or otherwise authorised to do so by yourself (e.g. in contacting your GP or other healthcare professional with details of conditions presented during the Session).
3. Your right of access to Your Personal Data
  1. 3.1. Your rights of access to any personal data that we hold about you are as set out in the Data Protection Act 1998 (United Kingdom), and are summarised below:
    1. 3.1.1. You can ask us whether we keep personal information about you by contacting our Data Protection Officer at the address on our Contact Us page.
    2. 3.1.2. You can request a readable copy of your personal data from our Data Protection Officer, although we may first require proof of your identity. We charge £15.00 for this service, to cover our administrative costs. We will send the data to you within forty days of receiving the fee and verifying your identity.
    3. 3.1.3. You may challenge the data that we hold about you and, where appropriate, you may have the data corrected, amended, completed or deleted.
  2. 3.2. In order for us to find any information we may hold about you, you must provide specific details as to where and when you have come into contact with us, and the person who worked with you. Without this information, we may not be able to find your information even if it exists within our records.
  3. 3.3. For further information about your rights under the Data Protection Act 1998 visit the Information Commissioner's web site at www.dpr.gov.uk. You can search for our Data Protection Notification there should you wish, our registration number Z8151170, and we have a listing under our trading name 'The Therapy Agency'.
4. Registration
  1. 4.1. In order to use parts of the Therapy Agency Service, a user may initially require to give their full postcode in order to search for a Therapist in their area.  This information will not be used for any form of direct marketing to yourself, without registering further information about yourself at the time of your booking (unless you have indicated otherwise).
  2. 4.2. To make any booking within the Therapy Agency Service, users must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give certain personal information (such as your name, address, email address and telephone number). This information is used to contact you about the products/services on our site in which you have expressed interest by staff of the Therapy Agency Service.
5. Cookies
  1. 5.1. We may occasionally use "cookies" on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when we may use a cookie to identify you through the use of a 'session ID' so that you may then not have to log in a password more than once while tracing through the site, thereby saving you time. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.

  1. 6.1. You acknowledge and agree that The Therapy Agency may disclose personal information we store about you if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to:

    3. 6.1.3. respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third-parties; or
    4. 6.1.4. protect the rights, property, or personal safety of The Therapy Agency, Our Therapists, Our members and the public.

8. Surveys and Contests
  1. 8.1. From time-to-time our site may request information via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate and therefore disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as postcode, age etc). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

10. Unsolicted Sales & Marketing Calls and other Unsolicted Communications
  1. 10.1 The Therapy Agency does not entertain unsolicted sales or marketing communications at any time, from anyone asking us for money, personal details, etc. We are registered with the Corporate Telephone Preference Service, and take serious action against anyone repeatidly breaching the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) and Regulations 2003.
  2. Due to the costs incurred in you taking our staff away from their other duties, any professional use of our time in dealing with sales/marketing enquiries to us, will be charged at our conultancy rate of £75+VAT per hour (a minimum rate of £25+VAT per enquiry).
  3. We are a service related company, and therefore operate a business by charging for our consultancy time at all times. Thefore, any business contacting us to try and sell to us, by any communication form (post, fax, email, or phone) without our express prior written permission (ie where we have expressly asked you to contact us), is an acceptance of these payment terms, and will be subject to these minimum consultancy charges per enquiry. This will be invoiced to the address we're able to gain from your contact details, and payment terms are strictly 7 days.
